Vietnam has lifted ban on import of Indian groundnut, making it possible for the country to resume export after nine months.The ban was imposed on April 6 last year after the Vietnamese authorities had intercepted quarantine pests in the consignments of Indian groundnut.

India is 2nd largest producer of groundnut in world. In which Gujarat is 1st in production of groundnut. China is the world’s largest groundnuts producer.
