JAVELIN THROWER DEVENDRA JHAJHARIA WINS GOLD AT RIO PARALYMPICS

Indian para-athlete and javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia has created history by becoming the first Indian to win two Paralympic gold medals.
Devendra Jhajharia wins gold in the men’s javelin throw F46 event at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. The Rajasthan born athlete, with an amputated left hand, was awarded the Arjuna award in 2004 and the Padma Shri in 2012, becoming the first Paralympian to receive the honour.
