Biopharma Shakti

Biopharma Shakti to tackle rising non-communicable diseases in India. It will have an outlay of ₹10,000 crore over five years. It aims to boost research, manufacturing, and innovation in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector.It will strengthen India’s position as a global bio-pharma hub.

Semiconductor Mission 2.0

It has an outlay of ₹40,000 crore. It will support the semiconductor mission.It will focus on industry-led research and training centres for semiconductors.

Rare Earth Mineral Corridors

To establish dedicated rare earth mineral corridors. It will be established in Odisha Kerala Andhra and TN.

Mahatma Gandhi Gram Swaraj Yojana 

The scheme will boost Khadi handloom sector with training, skilling, production and quality checks.

 Interventions in six areas

Scaling up manufacturing in 7 strategic sectors. Rejuvenating legacy industrial sectors. Creating champion MSMEs. Delivering a push for infra. Ensuring long-term security and stability. Developing city economic regions.

MSME Growth Fund

Budget announces ₹10,000 crore MSME(Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) growth fund.

7 High-Speed Railway Corridors

The budget proposed 7 high-speed railway corridors as ‘growth connectors’.This corridors will be Mumbai-Pune, Pune-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Bengaluru, Hyderabad-Chennai, Chennai-Bengaluru, Delhi-Varanasi, and Varanasi-Siliguri.

Sports Goods Manufacturing and Research

Budget propose a dedicated initiative for high-quality sports goods manufacturing and research.

Freight Corridor from East to West

The budget proposed new dedicated Freight Corridor from East to West. It will promote green cargo movement. The corridor will stretch from Dankuni in the East to Surat in the West.

Content Creator Labs

Budget announces content creator labs. It will boost India’s Animation Visual effects, Gaming and Comic (ABGC) sector. It will be implemented in 15,000 secondary schools across India and 500 colleges.

National Institute of Hospitality

Budget propose the establishment of a National Institute of Hospitality. It will strengthen India’s tourism and hospitality sector. The institute will act as a bridge between academia, industry, and the government.

Persons Resident Outside India(PROI)

The budget proposes PROI will now be allowed to invest in equity instruments of listed Indian companies through the Portfolio Investment Scheme.

Medical Tourism Hub

The budget proposes to promote India as a medical tourism hub. The scheme will support states to set up 5 regional hubs in the country.

Public Capital Expenditure

The budget proposes to increase public capital expenditure to ₹12.2 lakh crore.

Carbon Capture

The budget propose  ₹20,000 crore carbon capture outlay.Carbon The fund will be used in Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies to scale up and achieve higher readiness levels in end-use applications across.

Khelo Indian Mission

The budget announces Khelo Indian Mission. The mission will Integrated talent development pathways with training centers at foundational, intermediate, and elite levels. It will boost systematic development of athletes and support staff.It will Integration of sports science and technology into training and performance.

 City Economic Regions

The budget proposes  City Economic Regions with a focus on Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. It has an allocation of Rs 5,000 crore per CER over the next five years.

The budget proposes to develope 15 Archaeological Sites

Mission Purvodaya

The budget proposes ‘Mission Purvodaya’ for the Northeast states.

It will develop an integrated East-Coast industrial corridor with well connected road at Durgapur, creation of five tourism destinations in five Purvodaya states. It has also an provision of 4,000 e-buses.

SHE (Self-help Entrepreneur)

The budget proposes SHE (Self-help Entrepreneur). These marks will be set up as community-owned retail outlets to help women entrepreneurs.

Education to Employment and Enterprise’ standing committee

The budget proposes the committee to recommend measures to focus on the services sector. It will prioritise areas to optimise the potential for growth, employment and exports.

MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTION

The budget proposed, north India, the establishment of National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS II).

Buddhist Circuit

The budget proposes Buddhist circuit in Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, and Tripura.

16th Finance Commission

The budget proposes to maintain a 41% share for states in the transfer of funds, following the recommendations of the 16th Finance Commission.

For the financial year 2026-27, the Central Government has allocated ₹14 lakh crore to the states.

Fiscal deficit seen at 4.4% of the GDP.
