Carlos Alcaraz won Wimbledon 2024. He defeated Novak Djokovic.

Alcaraz became the fourth man in Open Era to reach multiple Wimbledon finals aged 21 or under. He is the second youngest after Nadal to reach back-to-back finals at the SW19. He becomes the sixth man to achieve the Roland Garros-Wimbledon double. With this he joins the elite club of Rod Laver, Bjorn Borg, Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. He  becomes the youngest back-to-back men’s singles winner at Wimbledon since Boris Becker in 1986.

Federer’s has record for the most Wimbledon titles (8) in the Open Era.

Djokovic is now the only man in tennis history to win all four Grand Slams at least three times. He is also officially tied with Serena Williams with 23 major titles. The overall record of 24 titles — men’s and women’s — still belongs to Margaret Court.
